Dark Combat Engineers Freedom is our main villain SG on the Freedom Server. Dark Combat Engineers has a hospital ,stored inspirations, crafting facilities and zone teleports. Dark Combat Engineers was founded with one major principle. To help the members of Dark Combat Engineers have fun playing City of Villains.
Dark Combat Engineers Basic Principles
- First and foremost, it is just a game, HAVE FUN
- Be respectful, no need for trash talking, or taunting.
- Drama free, the real world is full of enough drama, we play games to get away from the drama.
- 24/7 ventrilo server. We frown on the use profanity. Offensive language is really not needed to have fun
- Be helpful, start a team, join a team, be active. If some one needs help, and you have the time, and the knowledge, help them out.
- We do not care about prestige ,it has become useless. We prefer active players over prestige earners. We will never ask anyone to earn prestige, and it will never be used to gauge your standing in the group. Want to get noticed, download the teaming macros, and start an SG team. That will get you noticed.

Dark Combat Engineers Basic Rules
- Visit the web page and sign up for the forums. Check the web page once a week or so. This is really the only way to get information out to the group on what is going on.
- Must be 18 years or older
- Be active, if you do not login in for 30 days, your character will be kicked from the group. Sorry this group is based on active players, if you cannot login once a month, then you are not active. We are not going to have an SG full of inactive players. If you know you are going to be gone for over 30 days, let a leader know, we have storage SG's you can put your characters in.
Dark Combat Engineers Rank
- General-Steady
- Colonel- Duties include base design, recruiting, and running Task Forces. Have been a captain for 90 days, and have shown that you can handle the duties of leadership, use vent, and show the ability to be helpful to others.
- Captain- The Captains main duties are to run teams when they are playing the game, and recruit new players. Need to be a member of the group for 60 days. Use of vent is preferred, but not required. This rank is not automatic, like the ones below, you must either apply to Steady, or be asked by Steady. This rank will be limited.
- Staff Sergeant- Sign up for the forums, and be a active member of the group for 60 days.
- Sergeant- Sign up for the forums, and be a active member of the group for 30 days.
- Private First Class- Rank when you join.
Dark Combat Engineers Permissions
- Dark Combat Engineers permissions have been set so that all Dark Combat Engineers characters can use stored base inspirations, and enhancements. The only exception to this rule is the invention origin enhancement table, you much be an active member of Dark Combat Engineers for 30 days to use this table. Please fell free to use all the inspirations, and enhancements that you need. This policy is in place to assist all Dark Combat Engineer players, please do not abuse this privilege, as you will only being hurting other members of the group. I hate this rule, but in the past we have had people steal every thing we have.
- Anyone can invite another player to join the SG. So if you have someone that would like to join, please invite them. I spend a lot of time recruiting new members, any help would be appreciated.
- We have a global Chat Channel "Combat Engineers", it is a private channel. If you were not invited to it when you joined the group. Send me an e-mail, a forum PM, or catch an operator in-game and we will be happy to invite you. The global chat channel is a great communication tool, because it can be seen on any server, on both the heroes and villains side of the game.
