On 11/24/09, at 7:30 CST. we will be starting a new leveling group in Warhammer Online, The Sappers. We will meet every Tuesday night (some tuesdays will be 8:15 CST, due to Cub Scouts) until we reach level 40. Warhammer has made some changes, all new characters now start in the same zone. We will run regular quests, public quests, scenarios, dungeons, and even drop in the R vs R wells and defend or take a keep or two. We need to have a well rounded team, so we need a tank, healer, and dps.

We are looking for mature gamers (over 18). We are not going to be tauting, or ganking, this well be a well ran, and respectful group. It will also be fun, the best way to level in Warhammer is with a group of four or five.

So if you are intereted, please post below, will need at least four people to show an interest, to get the group started. Please let us know what character you will be rolling, so we can insure that we have a well balanced team. We will meet on 11/24/09, at 7:30 in nordland, which is where all new characters start. Our 24/7, profanity free vent will be used as well. So hope to see a few people sign up, so we can get this group going.

Steady

Will wait and see what others would like to roll.

I would prefer to not be the tank, or a bright wizard, as I aready have that class. So I might go warrior Priest, witch hunter, rune priest, slayer, or even engineer.

I have a bright wizard and a white lion, would preferrably like to bring the bright wizard, but can bring either one depending on the group needs.

For those that want to try the game out before committing to a monthly fee and need more than 14 days to try, Warhammer now has the endless trial (play for free forever in Tier 1 zones) and you can play on the Iron Rock server using this trial. Of course, you can't get past level 11 I believe, but it's a nice option if you just want to try the game out. I do not think there are any teaming restrictions either, other than having to be tier 1.

I was looking at the endless trial and register a friend options. My wife tolerates the time I spend in CoX, but probably wouldn't go for another paid monthly subscription to an online game. I'm really tempted to give this a try, but need to check out the classes/races/etc. If I enjoy playing scrappers, controllers and/or blasters, what would be a good option?

Here is a link to the classes, and what they do.

http://warhammeronline.wikia.com/wiki/Order

I have a swordmaster and Ironbreaker, in the 20's, they are tankish, but I do have my Swordmaster specced to do more damage. I also have a bright wizard, lot like a blaster, can do wicked damage, but does not have much armor, and has some AOE's that can attack a lot of attention.

The others I really have not played enough to know that much about.
